Candle Making Workshop

Location: Glossop Market Hall
You come in. Tables. Amber jars lined up, soy and coconut wax. About thirty essential oils on the table—lemongrass, vetiver, black pepper, patchouli,, sandalwood, more. You sniff, try, blend. Graham shows how it works, and gives you some sample perfumery experiments to do. 
We share the results of the experiments, passing them around. Then choose your favourite.  We melt the wax. Stir in your scent. Pour it. Wait. We use a thermometer and scales but don't worry it's easy.
The room smells like the finest spa, quiet with people working. You label your jar, watch the wax set. You take your candle home. That’s it. If you want, make another.
Bring anyone. Make a personally fragranced candle. Simple. Sensory. Satisfying.
