This week I worked with the great people at Shrub restaurant in Chester and at Home Coffee & studio in Alsager. Both places are full of the personality of their owners. There is a warmth that makes each place feel welcoming so that I have complete confidence in my events. So, if you can't make these dates, you should pass the list on to your friends. I promise you that they are guaranteed a great time and a beautiful planted terrarium to take home. I can say with confidence that these terrarium planting events are getting better and better. With each class we learn together and I go away and think about how I can improve things. Some recent additions have been wide necked funnels, little tubs to hold the materials, and trays to work over. The list of plants evolve and my advice over watering has become clearer since the first events. Please reply with any ideas, thoughts, completely unrelated tangents, memories of plants your nan had, or requests for other types of social events.
I'm still working on other types of workshops, they need to be up to scratch before I offer them. What I do now is such great quality that anything else has to also be excellent to meet the grade.
